Fall Winter Catering Menu

We have launched our Fall and Winter Forage Catering Menu!  As always there are small, seasonal changes and additions.  We have a great list of appetizers and platters so you can self cater your own parties and then a selection casseroles, salads, and baking.  We are always happy to help with menu building and amount suggestions so give us a call or shoot us an email.  You can see our Forage Catering Menu by clicking the Catering tab above.  We will be adding some festive items mid-November for your holiday entertaining.

The menu this week has a decidedly autumnal feel about it – we’ve resisted giving up the last few weeks of summer too soon.  We’ve been craving the warm comfort dishes and flavours that go with the yellowing leaves and cooler nights.  Butter Chicken, Pulled Peach Pork, Oktoberfest Plate and a new Caramel Apple Spice Cake with the apples baked into the cake, bourbon icing, and a drizzle of caramel.  It’s our favorite time of year!

Here are the daily specials for the week of September 16th:

Monday – Butter Chicken

sunworks farm organic chicken simmered with curry spices, ginger, onions, tomatoes, cream and butter served with basmati rice  $17  cucumber raita salad  $5

Tuesday – Pulled Peach Pork Dinner

polcan smoked pork with peach pepper bbq sauce, bun, baked potato salad, marinated vegetable salad, apple cider slaw  $19

Wednesday – Thai Green Curry Vegetables

house made green curry paste, coconut milk, chinese cabbage, peas, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, and peppers served with jasmine rice  $16  chicken satay (2 oz.)  $6

Thursday – Oktoberfest Plate

Oktoberfest officially starts on Saturday but we think it is ok to be a couple days early. Polcan smokie and sauerkraut, cottage cheese perogies, braised red cabbage, parsley carrots, brassica grainy mustard, and sour cream  $19

Friday – Roast Organic Chicken

sunworks farm organic chicken served with buttermilk mashed potatoes and our famous gravy  $50 whole  $30 half  $16 quarter

herb buttered vegetables add on $15 whole $10 half $6 quarter

Saturday – Cinnamon Rolls, Quiche, Scones
