the forage catering menu

As the summer approaches and plans are being made for gatherings keep our forage catering menu in mind!  We have a great selection of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and platters for the cocktail type party and entrees, salads, cakes, and sweets for more substantial dinners. There are no minimums so you can even take one of our salads to that end of school pot luck, supplement your next family barbeque, or add a few new nibbles to gin and tonics on the deck. here is the menu for the week of june 5th:

monday – prairie meatloaf

broek pork acres pork and sunworks farm organic beef meatloaf with herb gravy, cheddar chive mashed potatoes, asparagus saskatoon berry salad  $17

tuesday – green curry chicken

sunworks farm organic chicken in thai green curry sauce with vegetables served with jasmine rice and lemongrass slaw  $17

wednesday – roasted tomato arancini

roasted broxburn tomato risotto wrapped around bocconcini, breaded and fried served with balsamic grilled vegetables  $14  lemon rosemary chicken skewer (2 oz.)  $5

thursday – beef taco salad

main course salad of sunworks farm organic beef, beans, peppers, tomatoes, cheddar, tres marias corn tortillas, lettuces, and creamy chipotle lime dressing  $16

friday – roast organic chicken

sunworks farm organic chicken served with buttermilk mashed potatoes and our famous gravy  $50 whole  $30 half  $16 quarter

herb buttered vegetables add on $15 whole $10 half $6 quarter

saturday – turkey shepherds pie

heritage isle turkey, peas, leeks, lovage gravy, chive potatoes  $11  green salad  $5
