festive forage catering menu

despite the weather around here the festive season is upon us! we’ve put together some exciting things to help you entertain this season and the menu is now live on the website. this menu is available along with our seasonal catering menu and here are the highlights:

you choose 4 finger foods and 2 chip and dip items for a per person cost making it easy to entertain

tourtiere dinner

starts december 1st – a classic tourtiere feast featuring a forage tourtiere, mashed potatoes, maple mustard roasted root vegetables, pear salad, and our quebec tomato ketchup – feeds 6-8 people (or multiples thereof)

here are the daily specials for the week of november 14:

monday – butter chicken

sunworks farm organic chicken simmered with curry spices, tomatoes, cream and butter served with basmati rice  $16

tuesday – beef rigatoni

sunworks farm organic beef, rigatoni pasta, tomato sauce, spinach, mushrooms, béchamel, mozzarella served with marinated vegetable salad  $16

wednesday – macaroni & cheese

our take on the classic comfort food – we pack ours with sylvan star gouda and cheddar cheeses  $9  add a green salad  $6

thursday – tourtiere meatloaf

broek pork acres pork and sunworks farm beef meatloaf with our tourtiere spices served with mashed potatoes, roasted root vegetables, and sage gravy  $17

friday – roast organic chicken

sunworks farm organic chicken served with buttermilk mashed potatoes and our famous gravy  $48 whole  $29 half  $16 quarter

seasonal vegetables with herb butter add on $14 whole $9 half $6 quarter

saturday – ham and swiss quiche

polcan ham, swiss, sunworks eggs, cream, butter pastry  $11  green salad  $6
