On the Menu
Luckily I have a South facing raised flower bed that yields early results in spite of long winters. This week we’ll be featuring some of the fresh green things that are ready for harvest. We’ll be putting Stinging Nettles in our Chicken Potato and Nettle Soup and there is already enough lovage to make our famous Lovage Potato Salad. Edgar Farms is now picking this year’s asparagus crop so we’ll have lots of that on the
menu in the coming weeks. Break out the shorts, the lawn chairs, and the sprinkler and enjoy the first long weekend of the warm weather season! Who are we kidding? Can’t wait to see that footage
of campers in the mountains with a foot of snow crushing their tents. This is Calgary after all.

Thursday – Honey Hoisin Beef
Hoven Farms organic beef marinated in a honey hoisin sauce and grilled. Served with a sesame vegetable and rice salad $13
Friday – Roast Organic Chicken
Sunworks Farm roast organic chicken served with picnic potato salad and our famous gravy $40 whole $26 half $15 quarter
