Thanksgiving Jiggs Dinner Package

Our Jiggs Dinner Package is back for Thanksgiving. Our chef Genevieve moved to Alberta from Newfoundland many years ago but she can still produce an outstanding Jiggs dinner that has us prairie folk craving it! We like to celebrate our local farmers and producers at Thanksgiving so our Jiggs Dinner features many of them.

Jiggs Dinner for Two  $70  fully cooked – just requires heating

Roast Turkey – Winter’s organic turkey

Boiled Salt Beef

Mashed Potatoes – Eagle Creek Farm potatoes, Vital Green buttermilk, butter

Stuffing – Manuel Latruwe bread, summer savoury, Broxburn onions, butter

Peas Pudding – split yellow peas steamed in beef vegetable broth

Boiled Vegetables – Broxburn cabbage, Eagle Creek Farm carrots, Lund’s Organic rutabaga

Gravy – lots of gravy

Wild Blueberry Cobbler for Two  $14

Wild blueberries with cobbler top and whipped cream

Sugar Pumpkin Pie (9 inch pie)  $26

Graham crust, roasted Sudo Farm sugar pumpkin, Sunworks Farm organic eggs, cream, Silk Road Spice Merchants spices

You can place your pick up orders for Thanksgiving at our online store under the Thanksgiving location or give us a call. Orders must be placed by end of day Tuesday, October 6th for pick up at Forage on Thursday, October 8th, Friday, October 9th, or Saturday, October 10th during Forage hours.

Monday – Chicken Cacciatore

Thursday – Japanese Pork Cutlet Katsu Curry

classic japanese home style dish of panko crusted broek pork acres berkshire pork loin cutlet, japanese curry sauce, rice, shredded cabbage, carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower  $20

Friday – Roast Organic Chicken
