June at Forage

We have a busy month planned for Forage with some special occasions, pop ups, and dinners planned. Here are some dates to mark on your calendar:

Two flavors of meaty Sunworks Farm organic chicken wings – Hot and Sesame Ginger

Friday, June 18^th – Lobster Dinner

Our annual celebration of lobster and asparagus season along with Father’s Day weekend. You can order your lobster cooked and chilled or hot and ready to eat.

Thursday, June 24^th – Fish & Chips Pop Up

Fogo Island cod in beer batter with fries, slaw, and tartar

Wednesday, June 30^th – Canada Day Dinner Package

Cedar planked salmon will be the centerpiece of our salute to Canada Day. This dinner will be available in the store and on our Doorstep Drop Off menu.

Thursday, July 8^th – Pulled BBQ Pork Dinner Pop Up

Our salute to Stampede – hardwood smoked Broek Pork Acres Berkshire Pork and Mini Doughnuts to wash it down!

You’ll also star to see seasonal ingredients like Stinging Nettles, Rhubarb, and the first of the BC berries start to show up on our menus. Green stuff grown in Alberta soil will start to show up towards the end of June and early July.
