Crowbar Cocktail Classes
Crowbar is the other sister business of Infuse Cuisine Group and it’s a pop up cocktail bar that also runs cocktail classes right here inside Forage. Here are some of the upcoming classes. Shake, Stir, Muddle – Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 – Crowbar Lounge (inside Forage) – 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM $80
Whether you are you new to the handcrafted cocktail movement or a seasoned imbiber Wade Sirois (head Crowbar bartender) is going to be teaching the basics of great cocktail crafting. In this hands on class you’ll be learning the tips and techniques for 3 basic cocktail preparations and have a chance to make your own cocktails. Wade will be giving advice on the best places to get the tools of the trade, the liquors and ingredients, and the resources for further learning. Invariably these classes turn into an impromptu cocktail party as attendees share their creations and love for cocktails. Nibbles provided. Class size limited to 12. The Classics 101 – Part One – Thursday, March 13th, 2014 – Crowbar Lounge (inside Forage) – 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM $80
Before you start exploring the world of hand crafted cocktails it’s a good idea to understand the basics. These are cocktails that are universally accepted as some of the top classic cocktails. IN this class Wade Sirois (Crowbar head bartender) will take you through 5 of these drinks – Champagne Cocktail, Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Clover Club, and the Caipirinha. There will be much debate on the many variations that exist but in the end you’ll know the ingredients, techniques, and flavors of these cocktails.
