Forage Bees, Crowbar, and Hiring for Infuse

The Forage bees have come home from their winter slumber and it looks like they did quite well.  We’ve changed to a mentorship program with Eliese Watson from Apiaries and Bees for Communities.  This means we will be learning how to take over the managing of the hives with her guidance and support.  The corporate program was great last year but we’re much more hands on than that.  With the hives arriving about 6 weeks earlier than last year we should get better production and stronger colonies.  Can’t wait for the first honey harvest!

The winter season finale for our pet project Crowbar goes on Saturday, May 31st at 7:30 PM. Crowbar is a pop up cocktail lounge with a focus on hand crafted cocktails – classics and new creations – and small plates of food to add to the experience. This Crowbar will take place at a secret location and there will be food, drinks, and live music. The location and password will be given to those with tickets 48 hours prior to Crowbar. Tickets for the May 31st Crowbar are $90 each and include GST. Cocktails are $12 and non-alcoholic options are also offered.  It’s a relaxed evening of great cocktails, food, music, dancing, and friends. To make a ticket request please contact info@crowbarcalgary.com with your full name, number of tickets requested, and a contact phone number. Once we receive your request, we will be in touch to get a credit card number (Visa or MasterCard) to finalize the purchase of your tickets. Infuse Catering is having a hiring blitz for our excellent on-site catering teams – servers, cooks, and bartenders. The hours are casual and flexible and resumes can be sent to staffing@infusecatering.com.
