dine at home dinner

this week’s dinner has a little romance in mind. it will be available for pick up thursday, february 9^th to saturday, february 11^th. since valentine’s day is the following week we are extending the dinner for pick up to monday, february 13^th and tuesday, february 14^th. we are going to take preorders up until friday, february 10^th for this dinner and as always it’s limited numbers, first come first served. you can place your order by phone (403)269-6551 or by email info@foragefoods.com.

first course

celery root soup – purée of celery root, cream, bacon croutons, microgreens

entrée

blood orange duck – confit duck leg, wine reduction, blood orange

potato croquette – mashed potato, shallot, chive, cream cheese

beets, baby chard, and frenched green beans – with butter and grainy mustard

bittersweet chocolate mousse – with fresh raspberries and shaved white chocolate  $8 each

monday – tourtiere meatloaf

sunworks farm organic beef and pork meatloaf with tourtiere spices served with buttermilk mashed potatoes, maple mustard roasted root vegetables, and house made ketchup  $17

tuesday – tahini chicken

sunworks farm organic chicken roasted with tahini and lemon served with roasted potatoes, grilled vegetables, and tahini yogurt sauce  $18

wednesday – macaroni & cheese

classic comfort food!  we pack ours with sylvan star gouda and cheddar cheese  $9  add a green salad  $6

thursday – beef burrito

sunworks farm organic beef, tomato rice, black beans, peppers, corn, spinach, & jack cheese in a tres marias flour tortilla served with avocado salsa salad  $17

friday – roast organic chicken

sunworks farm organic chicken served with buttermilk mashed potatoes and our famous gravy  $50 whole  $30 half  $16 quarter

saturday – red pepper chevre quiche
