Upcoming Events
As the spring thaw begins, it looks like there are a handful of local food/ sustainability related events happening inspired by the coming of a new growing season. On April 15th, the Calgary Foundation and CPL present Vital Conversations – The Fundamentals of Food at the Memorial Park Library at 5:30 PM. Issues around accessibility, affordability and accountability will be discussed. This event is free but RSVP registration is required. Go to the Calgary Foundation website for more information and to register. Also, we are just finalizing details, but Forage will be a sponsor for this year’s LOCAL 101 being organized by Slow Food Calgary. The lineup includes speakers, film viewings, panel discussions, and much more. It’s a 3 day event planned for April 29 to May 1. More information can be found on the Slow Food Calgary website.
