Summer Break at Forage

So we discovered a few years back that it was much easier and more beneficial for us to shut everything down for a couple weeks than to take our vacations at different times.  It meant that we weren’t able to look after our great customers for a couple weeks, but it also meant that we all came back refreshed and ready for the second half of the year.  Forage will be closed July 30 through August 14.  We’ll be back on August 15 so mark your calendars!  In the mean time we are having one of our famous Five Buck Puck Sales so you can stock up on Forage foods for the next couple weeks.  We want to thank everyone for understanding our need for a break and we’ll see you in August.

Here are the specials for the week of July 25^th:

Monday – Bison Macaroni Casserole

Buffalo Horn Ranch bison, tomatoes, green peppers, macaroni, baked with cheddar on top  $10

Tuesday – Honey Hoisin Beef

Hoven Farms organic beef with a Chinook Honey and hoisin glaze served with white rice and stir fry vegetable salad  $13

Wednesday – Vegetable Lasagna

Fresh pasta, tomato sauce, mushrooms, peppers, spinach, basil béchamel, and cheese served with a green salad  $12

Thursday – Prairie Chicken Salad

Sunworks Farm organic chicken, Canada Goose wild rice, green beans, toasted pecans, on a bed of greens with saskatoon berry vinaigrette  $13

Friday – Roast Organic Chicken

Sunworks Farm roast organic chicken served with picnic potato salad and our famous gravy  $40 whole  $26 half  $15 quarter
