we told you these were the best and now avenue magazine has named our sticky cinnamon rolls a best thing to eat in calgary. here’s what we think sets them apart. the ingredients – highwood crossing flour, sunworks eggs, butter, and a blend of 3 cinnamons from silk road spice merchants. the time – the dough is made on thursday and proofs overnight in the fridge, then we form the rolls on friday, then we proof and bake them saturday morning – 3 days and 3 different people make them! then there’s all that love that goes into them! the rolls are available every saturday morning until they are gone. check out the avenue article on newsstands now.

thanksgiving

this is our favorite time of year – the bounty of the season is at its peak and we have a holiday at the right time to pause and give thanks for it. we see our farmers and producers as a major part of thanksgiving so we celebrate them this weekend. as you are thinking of all the things you are thankful for please remember those who are the stewards of the land, who raise animals humanely and with care, and who work incredibly hard to bring us good, clean, and fair food!

we’re open this weekend at our usual hours and we are closed thanksgiving monday. orders off our thanksgiving menu can be placed by wednesday for pick up thursday, friday, or saturday. happy thanksgiving!
