forage for thanksgiving
just a reminder to get your orders in for the thanksgiving weekend that is less than 2 weeks away! we’ve put together a selection of sides, salads, and sweets specifically for the holiday along with all the other things available on the catering menu. we ask that orders be in by the end of the day wednesday, october 5th for pick up in forage on the thursday, friday or saturday. you can find the thanksgiving menu tab above.
here are the daily specials for the week of september 26th:
monday – italian meatloaf
broek pork acres berkshire pork and sunworks farm organic beef meatloaf with italian herbs and tangy tomato glaze served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, balsamic roasted vegetables and pan gravy $16
tuesday – honey ancho chicken
sunworks farm organic chicken with honey ancho glaze served with tomato rice and beans, and avocado salsa salad $18
wednesday – vegetable pot pie
it’s the peak of the season so we’re going to put every possible vegetable we find at the market into the vegetable pot pie with herb cream sauce and a buttermilk biscuit top $10 add a green salad $5
thursday – vietnamese chicken salad
this is the last main course salad for the season! sunworks farm organic chicken, rice noodles, carrots, peppers, snap peas, greens, chili ginger lime vinaigrette $16
friday – roast organic chicken
sunworks farm organic chicken served with buttermilk mashed potatoes and our famous gravy $48 whole $29 half $16 quarter
seasonal vegetables with herb butter add on $13 whole $8 half $5 quarter
saturday – ham & swiss quiche
polcan ham, swiss cheese, sunworks eggs, cream, butter pastry $11 green salad $5
