On the Menu

We’ve got a couple of things to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.  All week we will have our Chocolate Stout Cake made with Wild Rose Brewery Alberta Crude Oatmeal Stout and on thursday we are making a Lamb Shepherd’s Pie.

On Wednesday we are making a traditional Frittata full of potatoes, peppers, greens, and eggs and look for Roast Berkshire Pork and Chicken Burritos to round out the week.  It’s the time of year when things are a little slower on the catering side so we are producing a whole bunch of new products.  Look for Citrus Marmalade, Bacon and Gouda Quiche, Caramelized Onion and Gouda Quiche, and the return of the Oatmeal Spice Cookies that we used to sell at the Farmer’s market.  The best way to know when these things become available is to follow Forage on twitter.

Here’s the menu for the week of March 14th:

Monday – Roast Berkshire Pork

Broek Pork Acres Berkshire pork leg rubbed with herbs and served with roasted potatoes, carrots, and pan gravy  $14

Tuesday – Chicken Burritos

Sunworks Farm organic chicken, tomato rice, beans, peppers, and cheddar in a Tres Marias flour tortilla served with chipotle slaw  $14

Wednesday – Frittata

Frittata with potatoes, peppers, greens, and eggs served with spinach salad  $10

Thursday – Lamb Shepherd’s Pie

St. Patrick’s Day!  Cakadu Heritage lamb, root vegetables, peas in a thyme gray topped with mashed potatoes  $10

Friday – Roast Organic Chicken

Sunworks Farm roast organic chicken served with buttermilk mashed potatoes and our famous gravy  $40 whole  $26 half  $15 quarter
