Eagle Creek CSA Pick Up at Forage
Joining a CSA or Community Supported Agriculture is a great way to get to know more about your food. Basically you commit to a farming season by purchasing shares that translate to a portion of the harvest. The farmer has the capital they need when they need it and they know that their production is sold and the consumer (co-producer) gets to follow and even help on the farm as the season rolls along. They also assume some of the risk that a farmer takes with the weather and the growing season.
Starting this Wednesday Forage will be the Marda Loop Pick Up point for the Eagle Creek Farm CSA. John Mills is an exciting young farmer who has more than doubled his CSA program over last year and you
will know the name because we use his garlic in Forage for almost 9 months of the year. All the shares are sold for this year but you are more than welcome to check out the great produce he offers and get onto the list for a share of next year’s crop. We look forward to welcoming his CSA members to Forage and thank them for supporting sustainable agriculture.

Monday – BBQ Beef Meatloaf

Wednesday – Wild Rice and Vegetable in Phyllo
Canada Goose wild rice and market vegetables wrapped in phyllo with a roasted tomato sauce and green salad $13
Thursday – Chicken Taco Salad
Sunworks Farm organic chicken, beans, tomatoes, peppers, cheddar on greens with chipotle lime dressing $13
Friday – Roast Organic Chicken
Sunworks Farm roast organic chicken served with picnic potato salad and our famous gravy $40 whole $26 half $15 quarter
